Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are currently seeking an extremely detail oriented, responsible, and hard-working TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST to join our e-commerce segment CARiD.com!  Our ideal candidate is an experienced, self-motivated, performance driven Talent Acquisition Specialist who is able to assist our already outstanding HR team!  The right candidate has the ability to adapt to our business while being a strong participant in team efforts to assist us in delivering best in class customer service. This position contributes to ensuring our extraordinary company culture remains sustainable with diversified talent and 'tricked-out' fun workplace atmosphere.  We at ONYX are trend setters and our HR team is no different, doing great things for people!

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will sit out of our brand new Jersey City office to handle recruiting and onboarding.  The successful candidate must have outstanding sourcing ability, a high level of detail, and excellent follow-up skills.  They must also possess the sales background to confidently speak to candidates and extend offers of employment.


Responsibilities:

  • Source and search for passive candidates.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and administer all pre-employment assessments.
  • Coordinate interviews with management team and candidates.
  • Maintain a database of active candidates and circulate weekly report to senior leadership.
  • Manage candidate expectations along the talent acquisition process.
  • Work with Directors on establishing compensation offers to stay within guidelines and salary grades.
  • Prepare offer letters for candidates.
  • Coordinate all new hire paperwork for accurate completion.
  • Coordinate with Workforce Management Team on establishing proper work schedules for new hires.
  • Coordinate with IT to prepare for new hire arrival including PC set-up and other equipment needs.


Qualifications:

  • Outstanding sales experience - we are selling careers and opportunities.
  • 5+ Years in talent acquisition hiring for both exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to track candidates within our process.
  • Must have superior MS Office skills (specifically Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical to success in this position..
